Nair N. Do Prado, a local area resident since 2007 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel. She was 67.
Daughter of the late José Do Prado and Maria Conceicao Ramos, she was born in Pocos de Caldas, Brazil on September 3, 1949.
Nair enjoyed many hobbies such as sewing, photography, writing, cooking, baking, drawing, painting, and architecture. She worked as a fashion designer for the clothing industry.
She is survived by her children, Reginaldo Marques of East Fishkill, Nadia Dos Santos (Antonio) of East Fishkill, Elaine Marques of Redondo Beach, CA, and Erickson Marques of Redondo Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Manoella, William, and Melissa; her brother, Antonio Do Prado; and many other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be held from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 10 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. immediately following the calling hours. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
