FISHKILL – Nancy R. Bohlin, 81, an area resident since 1967, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Yonkers on March 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lucille (Ciarletto) Topazio. She was a 1953 graduate of Commerce High School in Yonkers.

As a single mother of three children, Nancy always worked hard and was committed to raising them alone. She will always be remembered as the smiling face at Sonny's Restaurant where she served food for many years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and a "good" poker game. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Nancy is survived by her adoring children and their spouses, Ronnie and Donna LaBarge of Fishkill, Toni Ann and Steven Griffen of Fishkill, and Lucy and Kevin Smith of Pleasant Valley; her grandchildren, Nicole and Doug Hocutt, Steve and Mary Beth Griffen, Ryan and Teresa Griffen, and Ronnie LaBarge, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Mara and Lucas Hocutt and Oliver Griffen; her sister, Madeleine Troy of Fishkill; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Vincent Topazio.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 11:30 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers.
