Nancy LaCorte, a Pennsylvania resident since 2019 and formerly of Westtown, NY, passed away on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at the Delaware Valley Personal Care Center in Matamoras, PA. She was 87.
Daughter of the late Bernardo and Mary (DiGiangiacomo) DiGennaro, she was born in the Bronx on
March 10, 1936. On May 16, 1965, she married Joseph LaCorte in Queens, NY. Nancy was predeceased by her husband in 2011.
For 20 years, she worked as an administrator at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, retiring in 1995. Her hobbies included cooking, crocheting, and reading. More than anything else, Nancy
cherished spending time with her family. She always had a positive outlook on life and was very encouraging to all that crossed her path.
Survivors include her son, Joseph LaCorte & his wife Donna of Fishkill, NY; her son, Jon LaCorte & his wife Luisa of East Northport, NY; her grandchildren, Sophia, Joseph, Ava, and Elizabeth; as well as many other loving relatives & friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was also predeceased by her sister, Rosemarie LaBue.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 24 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Entombment will take place at the family's convenience at St. John Cemetery in Middle Village, NY.
