Narda Questel, a Dutchess County resident since 1972, died at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh on Monday, March 4, 2013. She was 64.
Daughter of the late Edward and Fortunata Pudia Curtis, she was born in Brooklyn on November 9, 1948. On November 9, 1968, she married James Questel at St. Agatha's Church in Brooklyn.
Narda spent her career as a Real Estate Broker and worked for several companies. She founded Upfront Realty in Fishkill and later worked for ERA Team IV in Poughkeepsie.
For ten years, she and her husband spent their winters in Boynton Beach, FL. Narda lived for her family and especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Questel, Sr. at home in Fishkill; two sons, James Questel, Jr. of Jersey City, NJ and Stephen Questel & his wife Marianne of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Ethan, Hunter and Hailey Questel; her sister, Caroline Allen & her husband William of Brooklyn; her brother, Edward Curtis & his wife Debbie of Brooklyn; also several nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives & friends.
She was predeceased in death by her brother, Anthony Curtis.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later time.
