Nettie Marie Cavuoto, 91, a resident of Poughquag for 20 years and formerly of Carmel and Yonkers, died on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in Yonkers on May 8, 1923, she was the daughter of Michael and Marie LaMagna. Nettie was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.

On April 3, 1948 at Mount Carmel Church in Yonkers, Nettie married Louis Frank Cavuoto who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Cavuoto Leenig and her husband Ron Leenig of Fishkill, Theresa Girolamo of Wappingers Falls, and Michelle Cavuoto of Poughquag; her grandchildren, Michael Muskus, Nicole Sullivan and her husband Daniel Sullivan and Michele Miller and her husband Jeremy Miller; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan and Aidan Sullivan, Addison and Brody Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
