Nicholas Joseph DePalma, 27, died suddenly on November 3, 2020 at Hartford Hospital. A resident of New Britain, CT, he formerly had lived in LaGrangeville, NY and Westfield, NJ.

Born in Westfield, NJ on July 31, 1993, he was the son of Charles DePalma of LaGrangeville, NY and Beth Anne O’Brien of Palmyra, NJ. Nick graduated from Westfield High School, and from the University of Hartford with his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Most often, you could find Nicholas playing video games, especially with the friends he held close. His family admired his temperament, always calm, laid back Nick.

In addition to his parents, Nick is also survived by his sisters, Casandra DePalma and Miranda DePalma; his niece, Arya Feliciano; his nephew, Jose Feliciano; and his grandmother, Rose Marie O’Brien. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Jacqueline DePalma, and Edward O’Brien.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12-3pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Private interment will be in the family plot at St. Denis Cemetery.
