Nicholas G. Senkbeil, age 49, passed away on March 23, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a long battle with illness. He was born on June 21, 1974 to Frederick G. and Angela (Modugno) Senkbeil.

Nicholas was known for his quick wit and sarcasm. He loved to make people laugh. He was artistic, great at building, and could fix just about anything. He had a knack for being good at whatever interested him. Building R.C. cars, fishing and setting off fireworks were some of the things he greatly enjoyed, but nothing more than being a father to his 3 children: Tyler, Christoper, and Lexi.

In addition to his beloved children, Nicholas is survived by his mother Angela Senkbeil; his sister Jennie Wiese and her husband Richard; his nephew Richard Wiese; his nieces Abigail and Emily Wiese; as well as a very large extended family including many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday April 1, 2024 from 2-6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at 10 am at St. Denis Church 602 Beekman Road Hopewell Junction, followed by burial in St. Denis Cemetery.
