Nina Forzano, 71, a lifelong area resident, died at home on April 2, 2016.
Born on December 21, 1944 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late William Benson and Elizabeth Margaret (Jaycox) Palmateer. She retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie where she was a programmer. Nina had a passion for cruising, which she shared with her husband Frank. After retiring she discovered she shared her brother's talent for drawing and painting.
Nina was predeceased by her husband, Francisco "Frankie" C. Forzano on March 17, 1985 and her brothers, William Arthur Palmateer and Louis Everett Palmateer. She is survived by her longtime partner, Cecil D. Kennedy of Fishkill; her nieces, Ruthanne Palmateer of Bradenton, FL and Nancy Warner of Bass Harbor, ME; her nephew Paul Palmateer of Cairo, NY and several great-nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on April 11, 2016 at 9:00 am at the DuBois Chapel at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
