Fishkill – Our dear loving mother, Norma Sileo passed away on April 27, 2022 at home. She was born on September 27, 1929 in Greenwich Village to parents Tulio and Delia Ricciotti and had an older sister, Vivienne.
Norma married Frank Sileo on August 9th in 1952 and he predeceased her in April of 1997. For 25 years, Norma worked at Queens College as a Secretary to the Chairman of the Political Science Dept. More than anything, she loved every single person in her extended family. She also enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra, going to the opera and Broadway shows and watching Jeopardy and Blue Bloods or anything with Tom Selleck. She also loved a good vodka tonic or a glass of wine and enjoyed cooking for her family. She was famous for her eggplant parm, struffoli, Easter bread and rice croquettes.

She is survived by her beloved children Lisa (Joe), Gina, and Christopher (Laura); six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her son, Frank predeceased her in August of 2015.

Calling hours will take place on Friday April 29th, 2022 from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday April 30th, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction, NY. At the request of the family, all guests are asked to wear masks for the calling hours and funeral mass.
