Norman W. Wilkins, beloved brother and uncle, died peacefully on July 31, 2009, at The Fountains in Millbrook, NY. He was formerly from Belmont, MA.
Norman was born November 22, 1913, and lived most of his life in the Boston, MA area. He is survived by his brother, Robert L. Wilkins and wife, June, of Greenfield, MA; his three step-children – Marcia W. Grant and husband, Craig, of LaGrangeville, NY; Linda W. Saparoff and husband, Gerald, of Barton, VT; and Curtis P. Wilkins and wife, Ann, of Providence, RI.; and many nieces and nephews and their children. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte P. Wilkins, on July 7, 2008.
Norman was born and raised in Medford, MA, served in North Africa, Italy, and France during WWII, and worked for Raytheon for many years. After living in the Boston area his entire life, he moved to LaGrangeville with his wife, Charlotte, to live with her daughter, Marcia, seven years ago.
There are no calling hours, and interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
