Orlando J. Del Cotto, 84, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1948 and formerly of Bellaire, OH, died on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Bellaire, OH on June 3, 1930, he was the son of Ralph and Mary Peroni Del Cotto. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force and was employed as a quality control technician for IBM, East Fishkill for 26 years until his retirement in 1990. Del was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club and the Shamrock Club. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play Little League baseball, bowling, golfing, working on cars and gardening, and building things.
On December 3, 1950 at St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook, Del married Catherine Weber who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Tony Tiberio of Highland, Candy and Bill Boyd of Milton, Cathy and Jeff Boldrin of Wappingers Falls; his grandchildren, Michael and Vanessa Boyd, Todd and Tammi Boyd, Nick Tiberio, Jamielyn, Juliana and Jeffrey Boldrin; his great-grandchildren, Breanna, Tyler, Hailee, Andrew and Emily Boyd; his brother, Guido Del Cotto of Bellaire, OH; and his nephew, Michael Del Cotto. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Tony DoJack; and his nephew, Scott Del Cotto.
