Wappingers Falls – PAMELA ALICE MUSCI On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, Pamela Alice Musci passed away at the age of 74. Her passing took place at Montifiore St. Lukes Cornwall in Newburgh where she was surrounded by her closest family members. Daughter of the late Victor and Josephine Livornese, she was born in New York City on June 23, 1948. She was the youngest of three daughters. Pamela and her two sisters attended high school at Villa Maria Academy for Girls. Pamela extended her education at Gibbs College in New York City where she graduated with an Associates degree in Secretarial Science. She utilized her college education by working various secretarial jobs for large employers. She retired from IBM Fishkill in 1992. Continuing her career, she became the Administrative Assistant to the Commissioner for the Westchester Department of Mental Health until her retirement in 2010. On June 27, 1970, she married the love of her life, Carlo Musci, at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Bronx, NY. Carlo survives at their home in Wappingers Falls, NY where they lived since 1975. Married for 52 years, Pamela and Carlo, celebrated many joyful milestones. Pamela is also survived by her daughter Karen Taylor (Scott) of Poughkeepsie and her son Gerard Musci (Jen) of Wappingers Falls. Grandchildren Cassandra Taylor (12), Julia Musci (12), and Joseph Musci (9). She loved all her dogs and family pets, especially Mikey. Her cherished grandchildren became the light and love that filled Pamela's heart with joy. She loved to spend time with them since the moment they were born. She often read to them, drove them to all the fun spots, embarked on long drives and talked with them, took them shopping, and spoiled them in all the ways she wanted. Pamela was the epitome of a perfect Grandma. Other survivors include her sisters Lorraine Harvey (John) and Joanne Harvey. Brother-in-law Vincent Musci (Lisa) and Sister-in-law Annette Goodness (Gerald). Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Pamela is predeceased by her brother-in-law Andrew Harvey. Although related through marriage, Pamela never referred to her brother-in-law and sister-in-law as in-laws, rather they were her "little brother and sister." Pamela enjoyed floating in her pool while reading her favorite romance novels. Each morning she sipped her coffee in her rocking chair on the deck. She loved traveling with her family on vacations. Pamela was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Fishkill where her family continues to attend Mass. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Monday, January 2 at McHoul Funeral Home, 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 3 at St Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St, Fishkill, NY. Burial will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
