Pasquale Bettino, 73, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 4 years and formerly of Thornwood, died on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Italy on June 29, 1939, he was the son of Luigi and Maria Falcigno Bettino. He was the owner and operator of P&B Paving in Westchester for 20 years until his retirement in 2011. Pasquale was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
On April 18, 2004 at St. Columba Church, Pasquale married Diana Bettino who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Phyllis Bettino and Pat Bettino, Jr.; two brothers, four sisters and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine Bettino.
Calling hours will be held on Monday beginning at 10am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at noon at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla.
