Pasqualina "Lena" D'Ambrosio, age 98, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 31, 2023. She was born in Italy on December 14, 1924 to the late Antonio and Caterina (Pistachio) Nardone. On November 17, 1946, she married the love of her life Italio D'Ambrosio in Bronx, NY. Italio predeceased her in 1997.

Lena was a supportive and encouraging woman. She was lots of fun to be around, never held a grudge, and never had a bad word to say about anybody. Cooking and spending time with her family brought Lena so much joy.

Lena is survived by her son Ronald D'Ambrosio, her daughter Susan Ilardi, 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Italio, she was also predeceased by her son Robert D'Ambrosio, and her sister Mary Gottfried.

Calling hours will be held Monday June 5th, 2023 from 9:30 – 12:30 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. A graveside service will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.
