WINGDALE – Patricia Rose Anzalone, 80, an area resident for ten years, passed away on August 31, 2023 at the Grand at Pawling. She previously lived in the Bronx.
Born on September 22, 1942 in the Bronx, Patricia was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carmela (Zambardino) Cardinale. Her lengthy career included being employed for 30 years at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and 20 years as a bus matron for the New York City Public School System.
An avid fan of baseball, she was devoted to the New York Yankees and had coached baseball for her sons' teams during their childhood. She also enjoyed drinking a glass of red wine on her deck.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Michael F. Anzalone, III and his wife Milly of Coral Gables, FL and Anthony Anzalone and his wife Rosemarie of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Christopher, Marissa, Olivia, Tomas, JM, and Michael Andrez; her siblings, Anita Campone and Linda Raheb; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was also predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Anzalone, on June 1, 2015; her twin sibling, Janet Fulvio; and her brother, Ralph Cardinale.
Calling hours will be at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Friday, September 8th from 10 am – 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm. Burial will take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.
