Patricia Ellen Behuniak passed away on January 30, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center at the age of 77. She was born in Riverdale, Bronx, NY on March 4, 1947 to the late William and Marianna Farrell. On May 16, 1971 she married her husband Ronald J. Behuniak in St. Margaret of Cortina Church Bronx, NY. After 20 years of marriage, Ronald predeceased her in 1991.

Patricia went to L'Oreal Cosmetology School and became a Licensed Hairdresser. She worked at Richard's Hair Salon in the Bronx. She also worked as a Cashier at ShopRite in Fishkill for 29 years until her retirement in 2020. She was a very friendly person and greatly enjoyed talking to all the customers about their lives and getting to know them. She was also known for her smile and seeing the silver lining in all.

Patricia was part of the Red Hat Society and loved gathering with her friends for luncheons.

She also loved to shop. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her daughter Tara, whether it be going for walks or just simply being together and enjoying each other's company.

Patricia is survived by her beloved daughter Tara Gilman and her husband, Lee; her brother Robert Farrell; her nephew Michael Behuniak and his wife, Jennifer; and her niece, Kathleen Budveit.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was predeceased by her daughter, Heather Behuniak on September 8, 2022.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2025 from 4-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY, followed by inurnment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
