Patricia Ann Burke, of Fishkill, died at home surrounded by her family on Monday, December 2, 2013. She was 87.
Daughter of the late John and Winifred Towey, she was born in Katonah on November 11, 1926. On January 7, 1956, she married Albert P. Burke at St. Mary's Church in Katonah. Together they raised their family in Yorktown Heights, where they resided for many years. They moved to Fishkill in 1994.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband in 2000.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Burke & his wife Carol of Poughquag; daughter, Patricia Jones & her husband Richard Krause of East Fishkill; son, James Burke & his wife Laurie of Fishkill; son, David Burke & his wife Ceri of Bethel, CT; grandchildren, Thomas, Lauren, Michael, Steven, Mikayla, Patrick, and Noah; her great-grandson, Michael; and also many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives & friends.
In addition to her husband, Patricia was also predeceased by her brother, Arthur Towey, in 1986 and sister, Virginia Donovan, in 2013.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 7 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery in Hopewell Junction.
