Patricia Ann Callaghan, a resident of Fishkill, NY since 2017, formerly of Ossining and Yonkers, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was 81.

Daughter of the late Angelo and Grace (Carlucci) Raguso, she was born in Yonkers on January 22, 1944.

She was a longtime parishioner of St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Briarcliff Manor, NY, where she was a dedicated volunteer who assisted with countless parish activities. Since moving to Fishkill, she has been a communicant of St. Mary, Mother of the Church.

Patricia enjoyed cooking and hosting relatives & friends. More than anything else, she cherished her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

On June 26, 1966, she married Edward M. Callaghan in Yonkers. She was predeceased by her beloved husband on November 7, 2007.

Survivors include her son, Michael Callaghan & his wife Cheryl of Hopewell Junction; her daughter, Noreen Van Tassell & her husband Bobby of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren: Brianna Robinson & her husband Joe of Conshohocken, PA, Michael Callaghan & his wife Allison of New York, NY, Christopher Callaghan of Arlington, VA, Taylor Van Tassell of Hopewell Junction, Ashley Van Tassell of Hopewell Junction; her great-granddaughter, Riley Robinson; her siblings: Mary Ellen Pease, Joseph Raguso, Anthony Raguso & his wife Linda, and Donna Papitto & her husband Paul; her brother-in-law Tony Masella; as well as numerous nieces & nephews along with their families; and many other loving relatives & friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia was also predeceased by her sister, Joan Masella, and her sister-in-law, Jean Raguso.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 13 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14 at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY.
