Patricia Marie Connor, 57, a lifelong area resident, died peacefully on January 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Rochelle on February 5, 1964, she was the daughter of Alberta Ann Sugrue Cooke and the late Richard John Connor, Sr. Patty attended BOCES and and worked as an assembly piece worker for ARC where she received a 30-year recognition of service certificate. She also participated in the Special Olympics, and was a parishioner of St. Columba Church. She enjoyed playing the drums and piano, arts and crafts, baking, crocheting, painting, playing cards, sudoku and spider solitaire, single dollar bills, Elvis Presley, floating in the hot tub and swimming in the pool. A huge Yankees fan, she also loved daises and buttercups, the color pink, parties, socializing with friends, decorating for holidays, and playing with her puppies. Patty will forever be remembered for giving great hugs and smiles, and sharing her happiness with everyone she met.
Patty is survived by her mother, Alberta Cooke; her brothers, Richard Connor and Kevin Connor and his wife, Patricia Ann; her sisters, Ann Marie Connor Cunnane and Kathleen Hajosch and her husband Peter; her niece, Ashley Hajosch; her nephews, Peter Joseph Hajosch and Christopher Connor; her puppy, Tiger; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her father, Richard; her uncles, Ben Sugrue and Bud Sugrue; and her niece, Baby Erin Elizabeth.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 12pm at the funeral home followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
