MILLBROOK – Patricia Anne Craig, 66, a longtime resident of Hopewell Jct., passed away on October 23, 2015 at home.

Born in Queens on August 25, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Peter and Ruthe Gertrude (Whaley) Craig of Bellerose, Long Island. She attended high school at Holy Cross Academy in New York City, and received her Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Certification from SUNY New Paltz. Patricia had been employed as a bus driver for Wappingers Central School District until her retirement. Patricia loved the ocean at Cape Cod, cooking meals from family recipes, and had a deep empathy for animals, as shown in the unconditional care of her many pet dogs and cats. A devoted mother who will forever define the meaning of strength, Patricia was loved deeply by her family, and the depth to which she will be missed is immeasurable.

She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Yvonne Alina Ruperti and Hallam Stevens of Singapore and Juliane Alina and Christian Nahas of New York City; her siblings, Douglas, Susan, Elizabeth, Geoffrey, Brian, and Peter; and several nieces and nephews.

A private burial was held at St. Denis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
