Patricia Dianne Deal, a resident of Highland, NY since 2002, formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY and Atlanta, GA, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 79.

Daughter of the late Ronald A. Deal, Jr. and Elva L. Everett, she was born in Richmond, VA on March 14, 1946. Pat attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and later graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. For more than 30 years, she worked for the Dutchess County Department of Family & Human Services, retiring in 2013. Pat loved animals and pets, especially her cats. She spent numerous hours volunteering for the Animal Rescue Foundation in Beacon, NY. Her hobbies included playing guitar & piano, sewing, and hiking.

Pat was predeceased by her mother, Elva Lloyd Deal, in 2009; and her father, Ronald A. Deal, Jr., in 2012. She is survived by her brother, Ronald Lloyd Deal & his wife Bonnie of Winder, GA, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
