Patricia Ann Fredericks, a local area resident for almost 60 years, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 93.

Daughter of the late Charles and Ella (Sager) St. John, she was born in Oswego, NY on May 18, 1931. She and her family moved to Dutchess County in 1965. For many years, Patricia worked as a lab technician at the Texaco Research Facility in Glenham.

Patricia (Ann) was a longtime member of the Southern Dutchess Country Club in Beacon, NY and the Brunswick Golf Course in Calabash, NC. An avid golfer, she loved time spent on the course and enjoyed many trips to Calabash and Myrtle Beach. Patricia (Ann) was very proud of her hole-in-one achievement. Patricia's other hobbies included many crafts such as sewing, knitting, and completing jigsaw puzzles.

More than anything else, she truly cherished spending time with her friends and family, most especially as a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Janine Atwell & her husband William of Champlin, MN; her son, John Anderson & his wife Ellen of Wappingers Falls; her daughter, Patricia (Trish) Anderson & her husband Charlie Strong of Calabash, NC; her grandchildren: Tabitha Fields & her husband Chris, Meghan Anderson & her husband Karl Meehan, Kathleen Anderson-Popek & husband Michael, John Anderson & his wife Sara, and her great-grandchildren: Edward, Alexis, Liam, Evie, Claire, and Ian; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives & friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Frank N. Fredericks in 2017 and her first husband, John P. Anderson, in 2001. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Stephanie Atwell; as well as her siblings and their spouses: Dorothy & Daniel Sommers, Mary & Jack Payne, Helen & James Hennessy, and Charles & Dolores St. John.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 25 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
