Patricia Ann Hiscock, 85, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1958, died on June 14, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, with family at her side.

Born in Pulaski, NY on November 12, 1938, Patricia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Dennis) Bosak. She graduated from Pulaski High School and then Rochester Business Institute. On December 21, 1957, Patricia married the love of her life, Edwin Wheeler Hiscock, and together they raised five children.

Patricia was an outstanding cook, and always had each family member's favorite treat ready in case they stopped by. She hand-sewed intricate quilts, crocheted blankets for every child and grandchild in their favorite colors, and tended a beautiful garden. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, and she was able to listen to one final game in the hospital as they beat the Red Sox.

But the central focus of Patricia's life was her faith. Out of her love for God and the truths she learned from the scriptures, she dedicated her life and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in November of 1962. Sharing what she learned with others brought her much joy, and she devoted countless hours to helping people find comfort and hope from the Bible's promises.

She was well known for her generous and compassionate spirit; whether she was sending elaborate meals to friends in need, sewing beautiful clothing for her children and their friends, or learning the life story of each waiter who served her in a restaurant, her love for people was unmistakable. Even during her final days in the hospital, her compliments and concern about the wellbeing of others made her beloved by the staff caring for her. Her scriptural hope for the future sustained her through her life and during her illness, and that hope continues to comfort her friends and family during this difficult time.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Edwin, her children, Lori Wehmer, Kim Hiscock, Ronald E. Hiscock and his wife Amy, Susan Coles and her husband Mark, and Jacqueline Hiscock; her grandchildren, Chelsea Clark, Cassidy Wehmer and his wife Ashley, Rick Hiscock, Ashlynne Hiscock, and Alexa Hiscock; her great-grandsons, Gavin Clark and Ian Clark; her sister, Joan McCormick and her niece, Jennifer Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her nephew, Michael McCormick and her granddaughter, Brooklynne Hiscock.

As per Patricia's request, the family will have a memorial talk at home on Saturday, June 22 at 3pm. Family and friends are invited to join them via Zoom
