WAPPINGERS FALLS – Patricia M. Moroch, a 45-year Dutchess County resident and formerly of Westchester County, died peacefully at home in Wappingers Falls on Thursday, May 9, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 72.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Lent) Dratch, she was born in Mount Vernon on December 18, 1946. Patricia was raised in Yonkers, where she attended Sacred Heart Elementary and High School. It was there that she met her future husband, M. Timothy Moroch. They were married on April 27, 1968 at Sacred Heart Church. After residing in Peekskill for a few years, they then moved to Fishkill in 1974.
For many years, Patricia worked as an administrative assistant for the law firm Pagones & Cross, P.C. in Beacon. She was dedicated to her job and had a great admiration for the firm's owners and their families. She retired in 2017.
Patricia was a great woman who loved spending time in her home, where she enjoyed reading and puzzles. Additionally, she was an avid Yankees and Jets fan and loved watching March Madness every year.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Moroch, at home in Wappingers Falls; her son, Tim Moroch of Wappingers Falls; her daughter, Karen Moroch-Chirinos & her husband Joe of Pine Plains; her grandchildren, Andrew Moroch, Alexandra Moroch, Amanda Moroch, and Matthew Chirinos; her brother, Joe Dratch of Cape Cod; and many other loving relatives & friends.
In addition to her family, Patricia is also survived by her beloved "grand-dog" Winsor.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
