Patricia McCracken Warren lost her battle with cancer and passed away on February 10, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center at the age of 55. She was born in the Bronx, NY on September 4, 1968, to the late Edmund and Dolores (Wolski) McCracken. On June 23, 2018, she married her best friend and loving husband Robert Warren.
Patricia worked at Trinity Pawling School for 15 years as the school's receptionist. Patty helped all colleagues and students with a bright smile and positive attitude. To quote Headmaster William Taylor "Patty was, in many ways, the face and voice of Trinity-Pawling until she retired in 2019. Patty welcomed all with a bright smile, a cheerful voice, and a unbiquitable positive attitude".
Patty loved riding motorcycles, going out for Mexican food and margaritas, and enjoyed anything spicy. She always had a smile on her face, and would do anything for anyone. Her positive attitude and big smile was contagious. Patricia had the unique ability to turn something dismal into something bright and her family states that "Once you met her, you knew you met someone very special." Even during her own struggles, Patricia was always concerned with others and wanted to help her loved ones out in any way possible. The "STAR" of the family, Patricia will always be remembered for her strength, bright smile and positive attitude. She never gave up hope!
Patty is survived by her beloved husband Robert (Cali) Warren, her son William O'Donnell and other children, Striana Lynn Warren, Robert Michael Warren, Hunter Jared Warren, and Amber Renee Warren; her grandsons Sebastian and Stefan; her siblings: Linda Improta, Alice Sgroi, Lorraine Falcone, Donna Yeaw, Roy Wiegmann, and Chris Wiegmann; and one of her best friends Jeanette Fortis, who has been her support system and rock though all of this; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was also predeceased by her brother Eddie McCracken.
Patricia's family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, for their kindness and care, especially Lacey, Jenna, and Samantha.
