Patricia G. Wyder, a beloved resident of Fishkill, NY since 1979, passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 96 years old.

Born on November 20, 1929, in Scarsdale, NY, Patricia was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Stauble) Keegan. On Valentine's Day, she married the love of her life, Jess Wyder. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing in January 2002.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around faith, family, and caring for others. She worked for St. Francis Home Care in Poughkeepsie, NY as a Home Health Aide, where she compassionately served those in need. A longtime parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, she found strength and community in her faith.

Patricia enjoyed cooking for her family, visiting with relatives and friends, and spending time with those she loved most. She was known for her kindness, helpful nature, and deep love for all animals. Her gentle spirit and warm heart touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children: Kathy (Billy) Johnsen, Karen Roberts, and Chris (Diane) Wyder; her cherished grandchildren: Michael Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Jeremiah Johnsen, Jakob Wyder, and Andreas Wyder; and her adored great-grandchildren: Adriana Roberts, Alysia Roberts, Julianna Roberts, Ryan Roberts Jr., and Grant Johnsen. She is also survived by several cousins and extended family members.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 5th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 6th at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY 12524.
