Patrick James McCloskey, of Wappingers Falls, NY and formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was 69.
Patrick was born on August 31, 1944, in New York City and later moved to Staten Island where he grew up. He attended New Dorp High School prior to his career as a Steamfitter with Local 638, NYC. This past March, Patrick became a 50 year member of Local 638.
Patrick married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann Macaluso, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.
He loved to travel and was an avid Giants Fan. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and friends. He was a true gentleman. Everyone who knew him loved to be in his company. Pat will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
Patrick's father James McCloskey, mother Margaret McCloskey, and brother John McCloskey preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann at home; daughter, Tracy Scarazzini & her husband Dan of Monroe, NY; son, Michael McCloskey & his fiancé Ronda Johnson of Falls Church, VA; and three grandsons, Dante, Christopher, and Tyler.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 26 at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman, NY. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
