Patrick "Butchie" Pantore, 85, who retired to West Palm Beach, FL after his retirement in 2010 and formerly of New Rochelle, died peacefully on September 15, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Born in the Bronx on April 25, 1939, he was the son of the late Patsy and Elizabeth (Price) Pantore. Butchie, as he was well known as, was the owner and operator of US-1 Auto Wreckers in the Bronx and B&H Used Auto Parts & Trucking in Hartsville, S.C.
Butchie will be remembered as a self-made businessman who enjoyed watching his stocks on TV daily along with playing his lottery numbers and his many trips to the Harrah's in Atlantic City.
On February 10, 1960, Butchie married Dolores Pontez who predeceased him on June 11, 2008. He is survived by his sons, Dennis, Glenn and his wife Diana, Joseph and Thomas; his daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Michael; his grandchildren, Glenn Jr. (Kristin), Gina Marie (James), Bobby (Mariana), Patrick (Tiffany), Christopher and Alexa; his great-grandchildren Valentina, Frankie and Harlow; his siblings, Michael, Elizabeth, Josephine, Carmella, Carol, Eddie, Adolph, Donna, Patricia and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Maryann and Theresa.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 11am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
