BEEKMAN – Patrick Francis Sheils, Jr., 67, an actor, musician, chef and teacher, died on April 5, 2021.

Born in Flushing on December 24, 1953, he was the son of Patrick Francis and Ruth Mary (Doyle) Sheils. On May 25, 1980 in Poughquag, Patrick married Cindy Reinach who survives at home. Patrick and Cindy were the founders and creators of P.C. Paddock Restaurant in Poughkeepsie. Following his retirement from the restaurant business, Patrick pursued an acting career and traveled the country for several years. He then went on to become a special education cooking instructor. He also had a passion for music as singer and Bass guitar player which stayed with him throughout his life.

In addition to his wife, Patrick is also survived by his devoted dogs, Abby and Mojo; his siblings, Erin Fallon, Ruth Mary Sheils and Neil Sheils; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of Patrick's life will be held in the future. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
