FISHKILL – Paul Anthony, Galimi, Sr., 86, a resident of Fishkill since 1997, died on September 27, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He previously lived in the Bronx.

Born in the Bronx on December 10, 1931, Paul was the son of the late Dominick and Edith (Falciano) Galimi. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated Edgewater Auto Parts in the Bronx until his retirement in 1996. Paul was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church where he served as an usher at Mass.

Paul is survived by his partner, Lillian Damelio; his son, Paul A. Galimi, Jr. and his wife Celia; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Alec, and Gabriella.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:15 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill followed by entombment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery with military honors.
