Paulette Denise Lewis, 65, passed away unexpectedly in Manhattan, NY on Thursday, September 1st, 2022.

Born in Ossining, NY on February 20th, 1957, Paulette was the daughter of the late Thaddeus R. "Sonny" Lewis and Joan M. Baker. She was raised in Ossining and spent much of her life relocating from Westchester to New York until she finally settled and departed in the city.

While much of her early life, Paulette was the happiest working at Rao's (Italian Restaurant) in East Harlem. She maintained various jobs, but her later life consisted of devoting her care to her family, friends, and those around. Paulette was a strong, good-hearted woman, that was selfless and had a stubborn personality.

Along with that, Paulette was a woman of many talents such as cooking (skills passed down from her late mother), singing, watching horror movies with her granddaughters with a big bowl of popcorn, a huge coffee drinker, writing, reading crime novels (especially books by James Patterson), and watching true crime shows.

Paulette is survived by her loving daughter, Joantue Cintron; her son, Emilio Cintron; her granddaughters, Megan and Valorie Blackman; her siblings, Glen Lewis, Michael Edwards, and James Baker; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held Friday, September 23rd between the hours of 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
