Pauline M. Pellettiere, 98, a resident of Wesley Chapel, FL for 10 years and formerly of Wappingers Falls and Yonkers, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at her home. She joined her husband in Heaven on the 15th anniversary of his death.
Born in the Bronx on October 23, 1916, she was the daughter of Frank and Amelia Curcio DelVecchio. Pauline had worked for many years in the Classified Department for the Westchester-Rockland Newspapers. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Land-o-Lakes, FL and formerly of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
On June 15, 1941 at Our Lady of Pity Church in the Bronx, Pauline married Prospero "Pete" Pellettiere who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her son, Peter P. Pellettiere. Pauline is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Jerry Mora of Wesley Chapel, FL; her daughter-in-law, Linda Pellettiere of Yonkers; her grandchildren, Gerald and Marla Mora, Suzanne and Mario Mariani, Lisa and Tim Farrell, Denise and Damian Marquith, Angela and Brian Luhrs; and her great-grandchildren, Krista, Larissa, Joseph, Victoria, Alexis, Jason, Julian and Nathan.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
