Obituary

Pauline Marie Przybocki, 95, a resident of Verbank, NY and formerly of Gordonsville, VA and Somers, NY, died on January 4, 2024 at the Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell.

Born in Barnesboro, PA on April 1, 1928, she was one of eleven children of John and Mary (Dvorocsik) Hrubochak. On August 8, 1953 in Barnesboro, PA, Pauline married the love of her life, Blair Przybocki, who predeceased her in 2007.

Pauline had been a parishioner of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Orange, VA. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting casinos, gardening, watching the birds, volunteering at her church, and attending Knights of Columbus activities.

Pauline and Blair loved to have large parties and entertain their family and friends. They always made all their guests feel so welcome and at home.

She is survived by her children, Teresa (Don) Bissonette, Bernard (Nancy) Przybocki, Mary Ann (Bruce) St. Lawrence, Ronald (Meg) Przybocki, Kenneth (Linda) Przybocki, Jane (Dave) Case, and Debbie (Gary) Jeffries; her grandchildren, Gregory (Jessica), Laura (Kevin), Kimberly, Jennifer (Dominic), Michael, John, Amanda, Madison, Mitchell (Jessica), Meredith, Matthew (Victoria), Mark, Nicholas, Valerie, Thomas, Ashlee, Meghan (Jay), Allison, Courtney (Ryan), Austin (Brittany) and Nicholas (Marissa); her great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Olivia, Calvin, Penelope, Alexandra, Arthur John, Dino, Theo, Madison, Mason, Maya, Aiden, Ryker and Troy; her siblings, Paul Hrubochak, Helen Przybocki, and Cathy Stanek; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Przybocki, Msgr. Bernard Przybocki, Sr. Justice Przybocki, Casey Przybocki and John Przybocki; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pauline was also predeceased by her grandson, David; her great-grandson, David; her siblings, Ann Vasiloff, Mary Phillips, Betty Pettit, John Hrubochak, Mike Hrubochak, Peggy Togna and Vera Funyak; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ann Kusiak, Betty Oleksy, Stanley Przybocki, Ted Przybocki, Violet Previte and Joseph Przybocki.

Pauline's family would like to express their sincere thanks for all the kindness and care that was shown to her from the Hospice staff, all the staff at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell, and the aides from Accent Care, Inc.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 11th, from 3-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 15, from 2-6pm at the Preddy Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street, Gordonsville, VA. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 16, at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, 14414 St. Isidore Way, Orange, VA. Interment will follow in the Culpeper National Cemetery.
