Peter Paul Bokowski, 51, of Hopewell Junction and previously of Herkimer, died unexpectedly at home on January 18, 2022.

Born on August 29, 1970 in Herkimer, Peter was the son of Peter and Anne (Kucerak) Bokowski.

Peter graduated from Owen D. Young Central School District in 1988 and was a Foreman for Local # 60. He loved spending time alone and working on his trucks while he was home. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July and loved fireworks.

On January 31, 1992 in Herkimer County, Peter married Susan Puchalski who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Steven, Mark, Melissa and Victoria of Hopewell Junction; his siblings, Bonnie Harrad and her husband James of Jordanville, Kathleen Bellotti and her husband Louis of Liverpool, Darlene McCann and her husband John of Liverpool, Karen Belgrader and her husband Daniel of Liverpool; his dog Jack; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.
