HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Peter J. Broscheit, 65, a lifelong area resident, died peacefully on April 11, 2023 at Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Yonkers.

Born in Poughkeepsie on April 19, 1957, Peter was the son of the late Hans and Jean (Hart) Broscheit. He worked as a sales associate for many years including for Orkin Pest Control Service.

Peter enjoyed bowling and dancing. More than anything he loved spending time with his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Edythe (Loos) Broscheit; his stepsons, John Joseph Sordi and his girlfriend Michelle and Donald Peter Sordi and his girlfriend Gianina; his grandson, DeAngelo; and his cousins, Klaus Broscheit, Lawrence Hart, and Dennis Hart.
