POUGHKEEPSIE – Peter Andrew Waterous, 53, a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley, passed away on May 22, 2023.

Peter was born on October 28, 1969 in Rhinebeck. He was the superintendent at Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains, where he worked for over 30 years. He was then employed by Southern Dutchess Country Club in Beacon and Beekman Golf Course in Hopewell Junction. Peter enjoyed cooking and music. Most of all, he was a very proud father to his beautiful daughters.

On October 20, 1995 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale, Peter married Marie (Langford) Waterous who survives at home after 27 years of marriage. He is also survived by his daughters, Danielle and Julia Waterous; his father, Herbert Waterous and his wife Linda; his sister, Kathleen Waterous; his brother, Christopher Waterous and his daughter Helena; his sister Vanessa Larkin and the extended Langford family. Peter was predeceased by his mother, Ellen (Russell) Waterous; and his siblings, Stacey Waterous, Colin Waterous, and Herbert Waterous.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2 -4 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
