HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Philip Bruno Dominicis, 86, an area resident since 1957, died peacefully at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on March 6, 2026.

Born in the Bronx on November 11, 1939, Phil was the son of the late Patrick and Stella (Verzi) Dominicis. He liked being outdoors, and especially enjoyed fishing.

He was the co-owner of the Lil' Darling Uniform Shoppe in Wappingers Falls. Since 1966, he and his family have proudly served the area providing school uniforms to children in the Hudson Valley region.

On January 19, 1964 at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Falls Church in Wappingers Falls, Phil married Doris (Sanfilippo) Dominicis who survives at home after 62 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Philip P. Dominicis and his wife Dawn Kane; his granddaughter, Sophia Dominicis; his sister, Joan Dominicis; his brother, Anthony Dominicis; and his nephews, Anthony Dominicis, Jr. and his wife Traci and Scott Dominicis.

In addition to his parents, Phil was also predeceased by his daughter, Diana Joan Dominicis.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday, March 21st from 1 - 4 pm with a service at 4pm.
