FISHKILL – Philip Giorgio, Jr., 65, an area resident since 1996, died peacefully at home on December 15, 2021 surrounded by his family. He previously lived in the "West End" of New Rochelle.

Born in New Rochelle on October 7, 1956, Philip was the son of the late Philip and Margaret (Racanello) Giorgio, Sr. He and his wife had been the proud owners of Giorgio's Land of Flowers Shop on 4th Street in New Rochelle. He then worked for the Westchester County Parks Department for over 40 years until his retirement.

His family was the most important thing in the world to him, and he cherished the time he spent with all of them. On April 9, 1983 at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle, Philip married Maura (Tynan) Giorgio who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Philip R. Giorgio and his wife Allye of Spackenkill, Alicia E. Giorgio of Fishkill, and Ryan M. Giorgio and his girlfriend Nicole Babian of Fishkill; his grandchildren, Ava and Mia Grace Giorgio; his siblings and their spouses, Patricia and Les DeSalvo, Elaine and Bobby Bretts, Richard and Karen Giorgio, Margaret and Jerry Grutteria, and Michael and Jean Giorgio; his brother-in-law, Sean Tynan; his beloved companion, Frankie; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville.
