Fishkill- Phoebus Petrides, age 86, passed away peacefully at home under the wonderful care of his aide and loving friend Ophelia.

He was born in Larnaca, Cyprus on April 25, 1935 to Zenon and Joanna Petrides. On August 30, 1953 he married the love of his life, Elizabeth, who pre-deceased him in 2019.

Phoebus lived in England for a time, and was in the British Army. For fun, he loved to hunt and fish and was an avid skeet shooter. He will always be remembered as being very devoted to his family.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Joanna Mascolo and his son-in-law, Frank; and his loving granddaughter Lauren Mascolo. He was pre-deceased by his wife Elizabeth Petrides; his son Thanos Petrides; his grandson Frank Mascolo; and his brother Thanos Petrides.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2022 from 10:30-11:30am, with a funeral service at 11:30am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY. Burial will immediately follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
