BEEKMAN - Quindel T. Brown, 76, an area resident for 31 years and formerly of Queens, died on May 28, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in the Bronx on February 2, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Vernell (Scott) Brown. Quindel had been employed as an accountant with the Fashion Institute of Technology. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and doing crossword puzzles, and was a dedicated QVC shopper.

Quindel is survived by her daughters, Nicole Trent and Nelaia Brown; her grandchildren, Nyasia Brown, Jhanique Brown, Quayshawn Brown and Noah Brown; her great-grandchildren, Kwame Brown Daley and Kenji Brown Daley; her sisters, Noreen Chappel, Deidre Brown and Jacqueline Brown; her nieces and nephews, Dora Beth Chappel, Monique Nero, Ronald Chappel, Theodore Chappel, Jazmine Charles, Deneea Brown and Dezraia Brown; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jenisis, Jacob, and Jubilee Charles; and her faithful cat, Mittens.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her life partner, Conrad Eric Branch; and her niece, Chevonne Mitchell.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11am - 12pm at the Beekman Baptist Church, 1068 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 12pm.
