FISHKILL - Rachel M. Caprari, 30, an area resident for 10 years, died on December 31, 2021.

Born in Danbury, CT and raised in Patterson, she was the daughter of Enrico and Megan (McCormick) Caprari. Rachel received her bachelor's degree from Marist College, and had been employed as a social worker for the Elant Nursing Home in Goshen.

Rachel was a very spiritual person. She loved animals especially cats. She also enjoyed reading, writing and listening to music. She loved her family and friends like crazy.

In addition to her parents, Rachel is also survived by her brothers, Nicholas Caprari and Bryan Caprari; her sister, Iris Caprari; her aunt, Marcy Edwards; her uncle, Michael McCormick; her cat, Waffles; and her dog, Reba.

Services will be private at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA.
