Rafael Cubano's Obituary
Rafael Cubano, 46, a resident of Beacon for four years and formerly of Yonkers, died on September 1, 2015.
Born in the Bronx on April 28, 1969, he was the son of Eileen Diaz Cubano of Poughkeepsie and Luis Cubano of Scarsdale. Rafael was employed as a mechanic with Verplanck Auto in Beacon. He was a member of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club, but more than anything he loved cars!
In addition to his parents, Rafael is survived by his girlfriend, Susana Taveras of Beacon; his son, Pvt. Rafael Cubano Jr. (USMC); his daughter, Abigail Cubano of Yonkers; and his brothers, Alex Gonzalez of Beacon and Luis Cubano of Yonkers.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
