Rafeal L. Vece, age 79, passed away at the Fishkill Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation on September 6, 2025. Born on June 22, 1946 in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Felice and Mafalda (Mondesando) Alfano. On February 3, 1968 she married her beloved husband Ronald Vece Sr. They spent many happy years together until his death on April 11, 2009.

Rafeal was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a very nurturing person and an excellent cook who loved taking care of her home and family. She was guided daily by her strong faith in God.

She is survived by her son Anthony Vece; her grandchildren: Christian and Olivia Vece; her sister Phyllis Alfano; and her former daughter-in-law Danielle Collucci.

In addition to her husband Ronald Vece Sr, she was also predeceased by her son Ronald Vece Jr.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 10th, 2025 at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson St. Fishkill, followed by entombment at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
