POUGHKEEPSIE, NY– Ramsunder Dwarka, 62 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Ramsunder (Sunder, Silverfox, Macaw or Grey as he was fondly known as) was born on September 29th, 1957 in Herstelling, Guyana to the late Dwarka and Gangadai (Ruby) Patan. He was the fourth child of seven siblings, five brothers and two sisters. Silverfox was an exceptional person that was a good friend to all. Most importantly, he was a loving devoted husband, father and grandfather.
An avid horse race and dominoes player, Sunder is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pamela Dwarka, whom he married on January 7, 1979 and his two daughters, Amanda Udairam of Schenectady, NY and Andrea Dwarka-Soto of Wappinger Falls, NY, sons-in-law David Udairam and Gabe Soto, grandchildren Matthew Udairam, Noah Udairam and Isabella Soto.
Funeral service will be private followed by cremation at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please visit Ramsunder's Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
