CHELSEA - Ravyn Vargas, a resident of Chelsea, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was 40 years old.

Ravyn was born at Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx, NY on May 13, 1982, the son of Francisco Vargas and Daisy Geigel.

He recently worked for Stofa's Auto & Collision as an auto body technician in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Ravyn LOVED his family, especially his son Cameron. He had a passion for art and was very crafty. Ravyn was such a creative soul. He found joy in crafting and working with his hands. He was a perfectionist, which made him extremely talented when it came to fixing cars. He was a hardworking and loving man who gave his best at any task! He was known for his kindheartedness, giving the warmest hugs and was a true, loyal, and genuine man who will be missed by many. He enjoyed reading to his son, Cameron and making everyone smile.

Ravyn is survived by his wife,Tamika Bowen-Vargas; son Cameron Vargas; his sister and her husband Vanessa and Monty Buggs; his brothers Francisco Vargas, Jr. and David Vargas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Gary and Carol Bowen; sister-in-law and husband Tiffany and Andre Murray; sister and brother-in-law, Kadijah Caban and Gary Bowen III; his nieces and nephews Devin, Aryanna, & Aiden Buggs and Kaye & Khloe Murray; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
