BEEKMAN – Raymond J. Millard, 61, a lifelong area resident, died on July 20, 2018 at his home.
Raymond was born on March 9, 1957 in Poughkeepsie. He was employed as a machinist for Vision Engineering for 15 years.
On October 11, 1997 in Beekman, Raymond married Karen Beyer Millard who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Corrine Millard of Dover Plains and Renee Millard of CT; his grandchildren, Andrew, Tiyana, and Elijah; his mother, Margaret (Swint) Millard of Pleasant Valley; his siblings, Robbie Millard of Hyde Park, Rhonda Gessner of Pleasant Valley, and Richie Millard of Red Hook; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Robert D. Millard.
An avid fisherman, Raymond enjoyed guns and classic cars. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a jokester who had a great sense of humor.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
