Beekman - Raymond Anthony Patierno, Jr., 50, an area resident for 43 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on January 27, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center following a short illness.

Born in the Bronx on June 21, 1966, he was the son of Angelina Cecere Patierno and the late Raymond Patierno Sr. Ray was the owner and operator of Patierno Trucking and Recycling in LaGrangeville.

On February 15, 1997 at St. Theresa's Church in the Bronx, Ray married Rose Schiavone who survives at home. He is also survived by his sons, Raymond III and Nicholino Patierno; his sister, Maria Flora; and his brother, Michael Patierno.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
