Rebecca Brown of Beacon, New York entered into rest Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at home. Born April 16, 1957 in Portchester, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Thompson and Sybilla Thompson.

Rebecca was the widow of the late James H. Brown III. She enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life like cooking and spending time with her family. She also earned many accolades and certifications such as a Certified Nurses Aide, Phlebotomist, and also ran her own day care. She always gave from her heart unselfishly. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

Survivors include a fiance', Henri Paulin; son, James Brown and his wife Barbara Brown; sister, Leatrice Huggins; her grandchildren, Shacara Penfield, James Brown, Juwan Brown, Shahiem Brown Fryer, Dominique Carter and Corey McKeller. Rebecca also had several nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was predeceased by her husband James Brown, her daughter Michele D. Thompson, mother Sybilla Thompson, father Thomas Thompson, brothers Jeffrey Thompson, Thomas Thompson, Jr. and Franklin Thompson.

Calling hours will be Sunday January 23rd from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY 12524, with a funeral service immediately following.
