Rebecca Ann Pepe, 53, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 21, 2025.

Born in Monmouth, NJ on May 16, 1972, she was the daughter of Keith and Jeanette (Capron) Walter. Rebecca graduated from Ketcham High School in 1990 and continued her education at Hofstra University receiving her English Degree in 1994. She enjoyed her years there with her Delta Phi Epsilon sister.

More than anything, she cherished time with her family and friends but most importantly was the time and memories she made with her beloved daughters. Rebecca lit up the lives of those around her with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Rebecca was a parishioner of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville.

On June 15, 2002 at St. John's Church, Rebecca married the love of her life, Anthony Pepe. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also survived by her daughters, Morgan and Jocelyn; her brother, Matthew Walter; her mother and father-in-law, Phyllis and Tony Pepe; her brothers-in-law William, and Adam and his wife Sarah; her nieces and nephews, Sklya Walter, Treyvor Walter and Carolynn Pepe; and her beloved cousins Lori Furnari, Jessica and Wayne Quint, and their daughters, Samantha (Sam) and Sloan.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 11am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville. Interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
