EAST FISHKILL - Reginaldo Nunes Marques, 49, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2017 while in Brazil.
Son of Reinaldo Marques and Nair N. Do Prado, he was born in Pocos de Caldas, Brazil on October 2, 1967.
Reggie was a scientist and inventor, and he had thorough interest in so many subjects such as construction, architecture, engineering, farming, automotive mechanics, and landscape architecture. His hobbies included golf and archery. He worked as a self-employed golf instructor and independent contractor.
He was profoundly loved by his family, and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his two sisters: Nadia Dos Santos & her husband Antonio of Carmel and Elaine Narain of Redondo Beach, CA; his brother, Erickson Nunes Marques of Redondo Beach, CA; as well as his nieces and nephew, Manoella Narain of Redondo Beach, CA, William Dos Santos of Carmel, and Melissa Dos Santos of Carmel; also many other loving relatives & friends.
Reggie was preceded in death by his mother on September 3, 2016.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. immediately following the visitation, with interment following at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
